FED UP!

(...continued...)

They went to Dr. Obinna’s office section. They met Dr Obinna’s junior, a lady doctor, who told them that he was attending to a patient in the inner room.
“Attending to patient,” Margret said, looking at Mabel. “Inner room kwa.”
“You and your corrupt mind,” Mabel said to her and they laughed.
“How long will it take?” Mabel asked the lady.
  “I wouldn’t know.”
“Is there somewhere I can sit down?” Cynthia asked the lady.
  “Yes please.”
She pointed at some empty chairs and asked them to sit while she notifies Dr Obinna of their presence.
“Are you seeing him as patients or on personal basis?” she asked Mabel.
“Just tell him that Mabel and Cynthia are here.”
“Oh Mabel. He told me to expect you. You are welcome.”
She went in and informed Dr Obinna of their arrival, and came out.
“He said he will soon join you.”
After a while, a young boy came out of the inner office and handed over a prescription note to the lady doctor, who took the boy to the pharmacy. Then Dr Obinna came out. The ladies got up and side hugged him.
“Mabel, how are you?” he asked.
  “Fine o,” Mabel responded.
  “And you Cynthia?”
“I have had better days,” Cynthia answered.
“Don’t worry. We will examine and take care of you.”
“Who is this pretty lady?” Dr Obinna asked pointing at Margret.
“Oh, she is my friend Margret.”
She offered her hands and Dr Obinna shook her.
  “You will not hug me?”
                Margret smiled. They exchanged pleasantries.
“Is she single?” Dr Obinna whispered to Mabel.
  “You are married o.”
“And so? A second wife is not a bad thing na.”
                They laughed.
“Come on into the office,” he told them and led the way.
  “What about folder and stuff?”
“Not necessary for now unless there is a major issue to handle then we will need documentation.”
  “Ok.”
Mabel and Cynthia followed him in.
“I will wait for you here,” Margret told them.
  “Will you be comfortable there?”
  “Yes. I will be fine.”
Inside the office, Dr Obinna clerked Cynthia. After some questions, he checked her vital signs. Then she told Cynthia to lie on the bed in the office. He touched some spots on her back and asked some more questions. When he was done, he asked her to come down.

“I don’t like what I am suspecting,” He said to Mabel and shook his head.
