POSITIONED FOR SUCCESS

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. (Joshua 1:8). God wishes that we succeed. You may ask why He doesn’t use His Almighty power to make people succeed whether they want to or not. God made man in His image and so we are gods and have the same privileges and opportunities. He doesn’t act on man’s wills and decisions. This is the reason why for every provision He has made for His children, we still have a part to play. He wants us to succeed but there is a positioning for success. If you are not positioned for success, you will miss it no matter how hard you cry or what else you try.

How do you position yourself? The Word: how much of the word you have in you and you confess determines how far you will go in life. Let us look at some other ways. Prayer: “Thou will show me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” (Psalm 16:11). It is by continuous communication with God that you position yourself to receive grace to take you to the height of your destiny. Next is Divine instruction: “And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.” (Isaiah 30:21). One of the secrets of David was that he never went to war or did anything without consulting the prophet and seeking Divine direction. Thus he never lost a battle and was the greatest king of Israel that lived. He was a success. Next is Service “If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.” (Job 36:11). What are you doing in the house of God?

Beloved, position yourself for success and the sky will be your starting point.
